Build Outdoor Spaces That Function and Last

Full-service landscape installation for residential and commercial properties.

Starting with bare dirt, overgrown beds, or outdated plantings means you need a landscape that works with how you use the property. You may want low-maintenance plantings around a commercial building, a backyard designed for gatherings, or a front yard that requires less water and weeding than what you have now.

American Dream Landscape & Property Management installs landscapes for both residential and commercial customers. The work includes site preparation, soil amendment, plant selection and placement, mulching, edging, and optional features such as pathways, retaining walls, or decorative rock. Each project begins with a walkthrough to understand your goals, site conditions, and budget before any digging starts.

What Takes Place During Installation

The crew removes unwanted vegetation, grades rough spots, and amends soil with compost or topsoil if needed to support healthy root growth. Plants are arranged according to mature size, sun exposure, and water needs, then placed at the correct depth to prevent settling or crown rot. Mulch is spread to retain moisture and reduce weeds, and edging is installed to separate beds from turf or hardscape.

After installation, you will notice clean bed lines, even mulch coverage, and plants that stand upright without staking unless they are young trees. The soil drains properly, and there are no low spots where water pools. Everything is positioned to allow for growth without immediate crowding or overlap.

The team hauls away debris, old plants, and excess soil, leaving the site ready for watering. If irrigation is not yet in place, the crew can connect temporary hoses or recommend scheduling irrigation installation. The service does not include ongoing maintenance or fertilization beyond the initial planting.

What Homeowners Usually Want to Know

People planning a new landscape often ask about plant survival, timing, and what they need to do once the crew leaves. These answers address those practical concerns.

What types of plants do you install?

American Dream Landscape & Property Management installs shrubs, perennials, groundcovers, ornamental grasses, and trees suited to your climate and site conditions. Plant selection considers sun, soil, water availability, and maintenance preferences.

How long does a landscape installation take?

Most residential installations are completed in one to three days depending on bed size, plant count, and site prep needs. Larger commercial projects or those involving hardscape features take longer.

What should I do after planting is finished?

Water new plants daily for the first two weeks, then reduce frequency as roots establish. Mulch should be kept two to three inches deep and pulled back slightly from plant stems to prevent rot.

Why do some plants cost more than others?

Price reflects plant size, growth rate, availability, and lifespan. Slower-growing or larger specimens cost more because they take longer to produce in nurseries and provide immediate visual impact.

What happens if a plant does not survive?

You contact American Dream Landscape & Property Management to assess the cause. If the plant was defective or improperly installed, it will be replaced. If it died due to lack of water or other care issues, replacement is available at material cost.

A well-installed landscape improves drainage, reduces maintenance, and creates outdoor spaces that support how you live or operate.
